Abstract

This paper design and construct an automatic temperature sensing system in a fan for a user to regulate their room’s temperature efficiently. We have created the system by using the Arduino Uno microcontroller board. The idea of this project comes from the tropical hot weather and phenomenon in order to monitor the surrounding temperature to prevent heat stroke. Moreover, automatic temperature sensing system is advantageous in saving energy and bringing convenient to everyone’s daily lives. The main components involved in the mini projects are an LM35 temperature sensor, LCD, and DC motor. Interfacing of Arduino Uno microcontroller board to the main components is the crucial. The automatic temperature sensing system constructed works well as the surrounding temperature can be measured and displayed on the LCD screen for the user to read. Furthermore, the automatic temperature sensing system operates based on the surrounding temperature. When temperature is low, DC motor rotates slowly. Once the temperature increases, the DC motor will run faster.
